Most recently she had her debut as a director for The God Who Sees, starring Nicole C. Mullen. Together, they co-wrote music for the movie. Gifford has a number of charitable organizations for children which include Childhelp and Association to Benefit Children. The two organizations were the inspiration behind Cassidy's House and Cody House, named after her children. Her humanitarian efforts in the field of employment relations has brought her honorary doctorate at Marymount University.
