Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born February 22 1983 She is an American comedian, actress and executive producer. She was the winner of 2008 on The NBC series Last Comic Standing. She went on to host Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
In 2017 Shlesinger was the host of her own talk show at night called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to an Jewish family from New York City. She was raised to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who moved there as a young infant. She attended Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. In the school she was studying Spanish, and was part the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger has performed on ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She also participated in Semester at Sea. Then, she was accepted to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. The college where she majored was film. While there she worked on editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy sketch group for students on campus.

Shlesinger completed her college degree and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
