Bernadette Peters

 Bernadette Peters, born Lazzara was born on February 28 1948. She is an American actor, singer, and author of children's books. She has appeared on films, television as well as musical theatre and solo performances, and also recorded recordings. Her career spans over six years. Highly well-known Broadway performer She has earned seven Tony Awards nominations, winning two (plus an honorary award) and nine Drama Desk Award nominations. She was awarded three. Grammy Awards were won for four of her Broadway performances.



 



 Many believe Peters as the greatest Stephen Sondheim interpreter. She is most well-known for her performances on Broadway including Mack and Mabel (1974), Sunday in the Park with George (1884), Song and Dance (1885), Into the Woods with George (1987), The Goodbye Girl (1993), Annie Get Your Gun (1999), Gypsy (2003), A Little Night Music (2010), Follies (2009), and Hello, Dolly (2018).
