Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson (born July 7 1968) is an American actor who is famous for her roles in the roles of Linda Reagan in the CBS police procedural Blue Bloods as well as Alex Taylor on the NBC drama Third Watch, and Josie Watts in the NBC daytime soap show Another World.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois (DuPage County, IllinoisElmhurst, Illinois] close to Chicago. Her family was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), school teachers. Carlson is of Swedish descent, and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: Early career and college
She first came to Hollywood as a supporting actor for the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. Later she followed her older sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
